Just north of Kalkaska before you get to
Mancelona you will see a sign to Dead Man's Hill. Take
time to drive back there and walk the short trail to this
beautiful overlook. In May 1910, Stanley (Big Sam) Graczyk was killed while driving a team and big
wheels near here. The area has been called "Deadman's Hill" ever since. |
