Each year, thousands upon thousands of beautiful and
graceful wild Canadian geese make our city of Fennville
their home.
The Wildlife Refuge here attracts our feathered friends
and our city's annual festival held in October of each year
is appropriately named the "Goose Festival." Many drive
through the refuge just south of the Inn to see the throngs
of geese as it is truly a sight to see while here.
In context with the slogan "Wings Of Change" for the 23rd
annual Fennville Goose Festival, the committee is bringing
back the "Loose Goose Trolley". After an absence of several
years this colorful trolley will again be offering rides to
the Wild Game Reservation where several hundred thousand
Canadian Geese stop to rest and feed on their way to winter
climes.
This is a 45 minute tour of the Fennville area which ends at
the Todd Farm Wild Game Reservation. A tour guide will be
pointing out historical points of interest and the migratory
habits of the Canadian Geese during this tour.
