Here is a drive that is stunning in any season and shows off the
beauty of northern Michigan like no other. You get the lakes,
vineyards, Sleeping Bear dunes and nature preserves. You can
take the main roads (in red) or opt for side roads (yellow) for the
more adventurous.
Highway 22 is only a few miles from Traverse City, Michigan yet, you
will feel like you have entered a different world. The dunes
are a spectacular destination and Fish Town in Leland positively
drips with charm. The main roads and side roads are all worth
it and you can't get lost because all roads lead to Wind in the
Pines.
