Michigan up north is a full of spectacular waterfalls that are easy
to reach for a Michigan weekend getaways. We are working with
two excellent Michigan photographers to bring you a selection of
Michigan waterfalls and some beautiful drives to get there.
Bonanza Falls, also known as Greenwood
Falls is located on the Big Iron River south of Silver
City Michigan. As you can see from the photo by
Rich Varecha, this is a beautiful spot when the fall
colors are doing their stuff.
Bonanza Falls is located south of Silver
City. You take M-64 south about a mile and you
then head down a trail that is on the right hand side.
If it is wet you may have to walk. Once you reach
the falls you could head down stream a couple hundred
yards and reach a second small fall.
