Michigan up north is a full of spectacular waterfalls that are easy
to reach for a Michigan weekend getaways. We are working with
two excellent Michigan photographers to bring you a selection of
Michigan waterfalls and some beautiful drives to get there.
Laughing Whitefish Falls is located in
Alger County Michigan north of M-94 just out of Sundell.
Laughing Whitefish Falls is one of Michigan's most
spectacular falls with a drop of more that 100 feet and
the deep gorge that has been formed.
This waterfall is reached only after a 15-20 minute walk
through beautiful hardwoods. After climbing the
fairly long flight of stairs you sort of happen upon the
falls. No loud rushing water, just sudden beauty.
