Michigan Hometowns
The
towns we will feature here are all special in a unique way. Each
of them embodies the elements that would make me proud to call it my
home town. Each of these communities is small, too small
for a full day trip, but each has some unique festival, feature or
attraction to make a visit well worth while.
You will find old Michigan architecture and picturesque streets that
invite an evening stroll. Majestic trees bring Mother Nature
into town and paint the scene with spectacular colors in autumn.
You will find friendly shop keepers who have time to pass some time and
you will catch a glimpse of life as it still exists in our best home
towns. While small, each of these towns will reward a
visit. You will discover local legends, Michigan Festivals, local
artists and some well kept secrets. If you are looking for a place
to live you will find that these are communities that welcome new
residents and small businesses. Take time to visit
these Michigan Home Towns and experience the peace and serenity of old
"up north" Michigan.
