The exhibit depicts scenes from daily life from the pioneer era, from playing a piano, to churning butter, to feeding the baby. All of this comes to life when the power is turned on and the fabulous animated dolls and puppets go into action. The scenes and animation are so cool that smiles breakout and everyone begins to clap. These fantastic dolls were originally used in displays at the, now closed, Powers Department Store in Hart. There just isn't another display like this anywhere in Michigan.
